MEET OUR TEAM
Rev. Canon Alan Strange
Alan turned to follow Christ at 18, was ordained and served in Brussels for 8 years before leaving to be a vicar in Norwich, England for 20 years. Now, he has returned “home”, to the continent. Heaven would be skiing with Jesus in the morning, lying on a beach with his wife in the afternoon, and having a BBQ with all his friends as the sun goes down.
Rev. Kerry Buttram
Kerry is the Interim Minister at our City Centre congregation. As an American with wide overseas experience, most recently 5 years as the Assistant Dean of All Saints’ Anglican Cathedral Cairo, he brings a unique perspective to our international community. Kerry seeks to build bridges for the Gospel through daily activities and relationships.
Congregration of the Holy Spirit
Amos is our Pastoral Intern at Christ Church Amsterdam, as part of his graduate studies in Divinity at Tyndale Theological Seminary. Amos is a seasoned leader from the Anglican Church of Rwanda. When he did his first church-plant, in southern Rwanda, there were 41 witch-doctors in his patch; when he left, there were 4. Amos believes he was simply doing the ordinary work of the gospel.
Julia is ordinand in our chaplaincy. She is currently training for ordained ministry while working for a leading energy company, Julia sees Jesus at work everywhere from the wind farm to the church. She loves new challenges, live music and sailing. Julia has started and leads our new evening service on Sundays in City Centre: Afresh! which is all about an open dialogue format, discovering the Bible anew through a variety of lenses.
