Br. Rik Florentinus has been ordained priest by bishop Geoffrey. Rik will serve as a non-stipendiary minister in both Christ Church Amsterdam and the ecumenical community Spe Gaudentes (‘Rejoicing in Hope’), part of the Oudezijds 100 community in the Red Light District in Amsterdam. Oudezijds 100 is one of Christ Church’s mission partners.

This is a wonderful development for Christ Church and OZ100… we used to have an Anglican priest as part of both communities when Brother John was here, and it further unites us in the ministry of making disciples of Christ of all nations in Amsterdam.
